] ART-LAB :
Establishing of the publicly accessible art laboratory in the barrel factory, where the development of the projects ‘on the track’ – can be followed and Interested visitors are invited to participate in the public discussions.
The transdisciplinary ART.LAB will take place regularly in the Fassfabrik and at the associated locations along the project line through Europe.

] Exhibition – media installations – video works – concepts – projects
The exhibition is designed as an interactive, walk-through landscape by Thomas J. Jelinek and consists of works curated in collaboration with Jennifer Helia DeFelice.
The works explore the streams of the present in a climatological, biological, media/media-technical, and political sense
and make up interactive installations, objects, and comprehensible processes that can be followed throughout the
exhibition.
At the same time, the traces of movement, as in riverbeds, also materialize in a technically figurative sense
by using the mobile media as a self-empowering tool, such as the “MILEUKINO” – a mobile Cinema-truck by Max Kaufmann, or the KUBUS. Setzkasten – a mobile multifunctional structure – and making them accessible to visitors as part of the installation landscape.
] Symposium
The core of the STREAM.field – Art Laboratory is the symposium, which combines academic discourse and presentations with the artistic contributions of the festival and, accompanied by public discussions, contextualises the themes of the artistic works within a broader academic and socio-political framework. The symposium is fundamentally transdisciplinary in nature and aims to go beyond merely bringing together scientific and artistic expertise and positions to create synergistic moments that can also be directly translated into small practical experiments in the ART-LAB.

crossing.borders – ALONG the LINE
The artistic manifestations and works can be found at several locations in Bad Radkersburg and Gornja Radgona.
In the performance MISU, Aiko Kazuko Kurosaki connects the ‘neighbourhoods’ by walking across the Mur Bridge and shares the fundamental element of water with the audience in a performative reduction to the basis of life for all living beings. The timeless slowness is juxtaposed with the cross-border flow of staged youth culture, realised by GoodLee with young people from Murska Sobota and Bad Radkersburg, and in the three-part installation ‘Trace the Connection’ by Gertrude Moser-Wagner, pieces of railway tracks can be found on both sides of the Mur and in the Zollhaus on the Austrian side. Further positions on the theme of borders and crossing borders by Kerstin Bennier (AT), Jennifer DeFelice (US/CZ), Alfred Hruschka (AT), Verena Tscherner (AT), Michaela Vrbkova (CZ) and others can be seen and experienced in the Zollhaus.
