FLUVIALE 2025
The FLUVIALE is a modularly structured, mobile art festival travelling along an axis through Europe – a contemporary form of a festival-like project aggregation.
Facing the radical upheaval in the natural, biological and technological environment, society and all living conditions on the planet, in the context of rapidly changing parameters of our existence and perception of the world, with the historical prospect of a realistically possible self-destruction of humanity, the FLUVIALE is setting out on a journey across the continent – on a north-south route, over 4,000 kilometres from Catania in Sicily to Skjervøy on the Barents Sea, in Norway – to develop artistic works and modules from on-site analyses that address the existential questions of the present and the development of the future in a public discourse.
Die FLUVIALE ist eine modular konzipiertes, mobiles Kunstfestival und Projekt, das entlang einer Achse durch Europa reist — eine zeitgenössische Form der festivalähnlichen Projektverdichtung.
Im Angesicht des radikalen Umbruchs der natürlichen, biologischen und technologischen Umwelt, der Gesellschaft und aller Lebensbedingungen auf dem Planeten, im Kontext sich rasant verändernder Parameter unserer Existenz und Weltwahrnehmung, mit der historischen Aussicht auf eine realistisch mögliche Selbstzerstörung der Menschheit, macht sich die FLUVIALE auf den Weg quer durch Europa – Über 4000 Kilometer von Catania in Sizilien bis nach Skjervøy an der Barents See, in Norwegen – die Gegenwart zu analysieren und in modularen Projekten Kooperationen und Lösungsmodelle zu entwickeln um mit zeitadäquaten Formen der Kunst und des Diskurses, Simulationen der Zukunftsbewältigung herzustellen. Der Subtitel „ALONG the LINE“ bezeichnet dabei die gerade geodätische Fokuslinie durch Europa.
