She is mother of four children.
´First, dancing was my biggest passion and for me one of the most direct and honest ways of expressing myself. No matter what style or what kind of dance. Now my work is focused more and more on ecological and sozial critical projects as I feel as a mother we must to leave not such a world like it is now to our children and as an artist we have the chance to reach more people. Therefore I choose not only the protected area of a theatre space but my works are often shown as site specific – installative – interactive – interventive works in public space. As a Japanese rooted artist I did several works for the Hiroshima Memorial Day, activistic performances for Fukushima and about water – as woman and mother I work as an artistic director for OBRA – an Austrian artistic campaign to end violence against women and girls and for actions against the climate change. Keeping the balance between being mother, woman, teacher, activist and artist is my biggest art – live – project.´
