I see my work as an artist as a way of looking at the world and exploring how I am connected to it.

I experience the act of viewing, the gaze into the world, language and words as an ‘in-between’ – as semi-permeable membranes that allow us, on the one hand, to come into contact with the ‘Other’ and, on the other, to bring the difference from the ‘Other’ into consciousness. For me, this space formed by the membranes simultaneously becomes a ‘place of viewing’ where things are condensed.
